The ILJM’s research library is open to the public on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, during the Museum’s opening hours. Non-members of the Museum’s Friend’s Club are requested to contact the ILJM’s Education Department for an appointment.
The ILJM Library holdings amount to over 5000 volumes in the specialised fields of jewelry history, art history, archaeology and the applied and decorative arts. This exceptional research library, one of its kind in Greece in its focus on the art of jewelry, is enriched annually with acquisitions and donations, so as to serve as a potent research tool for layman and specialist alike.  The most recent donation to the ILJM library was that of 258 volumes on jewelry history kindly bequeathed to the Museum in the memory of George Ioannis Pikoulas by his decendants, Mr. Constantine G. Pikoulas, Ms. Georgia Euaggelopoulou-Pikoula, Ms Chrysa Georgantopoulou, Ms Eirine Karavasila and Ms Viky Nikoyanni.
For any information regarding new books and research please contact Ms Eleni Mastoras and Mrs Lila Patsiadou.
